60 word fiction

This mini story first appeared in Woman’s Weekly Fiction Special. 

Selling the end of her garden to a property developer had been the best thing Vera had done.  She had thousands of pounds in the bank and no grass to cut.  She watched her new neighbours arrive.  They were familiar, but she couldn’t remember where she’d seen them before.  Then she recalled it had been on TV: Neighbours from Hell!
