NEW AUTUMN PROGRAMME – OUT NOW
If writing is one of the things on your ‘to do’ list this autumn, why not come along to one of my writing workshops.
The workshops are usually held in Poole, in fully accessible buildings. Groups are small (around 8-10) and I try to ensure that the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The workshops are generally suitable for all levels of experience (including beginners) and they give you the opportunity to both practise your writing and meet other like-minded people.
Please click on ‘courses for individuals’ to see the autumn programme.
If you haven’t been on one of my courses before, here are a few comments from previous participants:
- “I’d like to thank you for helping me with my writing. You have brought out a confidence I never knew I had.”
- “Fun session.”
- “The workshop gave me two or three ideas for short stories that I shall work on.”
- “It was great Monique. I really enjoyed it.”
- “Lots of information. Excellent once more!”

BOURNEMOUTH LITERARY FESTIVAL 22-28 October
As well as attending my workshop on Anniversaries, there are plenty of other opportunities for writers to get involved in the Festival. There’s a network evening for members of writers’ groups, a poetry slam, haiku session and the opportunity to write about what you hear. For younger writers there’s an event for 8-12 year olds and for those who like writing outdoors, you can join other writers and write by the sea in a beach hut. See: www.bournemouthliteraryfestival.co.uk
POOLE LITERARY FESTIVAL 29-31 October
Following on from Bournemouth’s, is the first Poole Literary Festival which features lots of well known authors and a host of events. See http://www.poolelitfest.com
